Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some popular questions asked, please feel free to take a look. If you should have any questions that are not below, please feel free to reach me through my homepage contact form

Q: How long does this process take?

  • From start to finish, the process for a custom Portrait Session can actually take several days/weeks, depending on your schedule and my workload. It's definitely an investment of time, but the end results are well worth it.

Here's a timeline for a typical session:

  • We will have a pre-session consultation, where we get to know each other, and speak creatively for the sake of planning a spectacular photo shoot. At this time we can discuss, locations, and anything that you may have on your mind regarding your session.
  • 1-2 hours the session itself (depending on your booking request). This is where the fun and magic happen! We will make a great team, and make it a great experience that you cannot buy nor receive at your local big box studio!
  • Last but not least, we will follow up with a proof consultation. Here you will be able to view your 20-25 custom edited images, as well as all print and product offerings, and place your order with me :)

Q: Where will we hold the session? What are some good locations?

  • We will hold the session wherever we want :) I have several go-to locations (natural or urban) that I love and I'm always open to new ideas as well. Where everyone is comfortable and relaxed. Once your session is booked, tell me about the kind of feel you want to your images, or let me know which images speak most to you on my website; and we can determine the best location for your session. Newborn photo sessions are always within your home.

Q: What size can I print the images?

  • My photographs are high resolution images, so you aren't restricted as to how large you can print.

Q: Do you photograph births or offer birth photography?

  • Yes.

Q: When should we hold my maternity photography session?

  • I normally recommend we book your session around the Third Trimester, for the best possible belly shots.
